Photo of Rae of the day.

Not sure how long I am going to keep this up, but I will commit to at least a week. This isn’t so much, “hey, look at me!”, but more, “hey, let me stop being lazy and create more art.” I have a bunch of video and photo projects I want to get underway, and hopefully, soon I’ll be able to get started and list them under Photo of the day.

So why this photo?

I like this one because I am not really thinking about the audience or performing. The song and routine had a serious message, and though the whole night was far from perfect, this was the one moment, where I felt I got to express my political views. Peace and love can flow just as easily as silk fabric. It can be just as beautiful as fabric pierced by light and gliding on the wind. Hatred can be just as piercing as a crimson red on bleeding into the soft white snow. I prefer peace.
